Welcome to my page

I am Anni, a 42-year-old midwife and nurse who has been working in the field of mental health for the past ten years. Through my own business, I work as a relationship and sexological therapist. I am also a mindfulness instructor with trauma sensitive training. I have experience in psychiatry and working with mental health rehabilitation clients. Over the years, I have had clients of all ages. ​​​

 

My parents come from different cultural backgrounds which has given me the opportunity to grow up learning close by how the cultures we have around us mold us. My mum is a Finn and my dad was born in Mauritius. And I am very much like my dad.For me, a longer period of time which I spent in Mauritius in my 30´s made me understand the parts of me that hadn't quite fit before.  As much of a cliché as it is you could say I found myself there.​​​​

I believe that culture, religion and the possible rules and regulations we grow up withhave a massive impact on us. And they never really leave us. Not that we would want to get rid of all the good that comes along the way and richens our lives. My background however has given me the understanding through personal experience on how all this also affects our romantic and sexual relationships and the most important relationship we have with ourselves.

I am easily excited by the things that are meaningful to me. In my work, I use a wide range of techniques I have learned over the years. My approach is always customer oriented and practical.​​

RELATIONSHIP THERAPY​​​​​

​​

You are welcome either with Your partner / partners or alone. 

​​In therapy, we focus on the interaction within Your relationship, the needs and desires '

of the individuals, sexuality, and the future of the relationship.

​You can also come to relationship therapy to reflect on Your past relationships,

any wounds they may have left, and Your hopes for the future. ​

In relationship therapy, we can also explore the possibility of separation

or address the decision to separate if needed. ​​

Therapy is usually short-term, and the number of sessions is always determined on a case-by-case basis.

Typically, there are 5-20 sessions, but sometimes just a couple of sessions are enough.   ​​​​ 

 

SEXOLOGICAL THERAPY​​​

 

You are welcome either with Your partner / partners or alone.

 

There can be many reasons to seek therapy, for instance:

 

​​- Relationship challenges

- Low sexual desire / mismatch in sexual desires

- Issues related to self-esteem and body image

- Questions about sexual identity or gender

- Changes in sexuality, for example, due to illness

- Infidelity

- Experiences of sexual violence or abuse  ​​

The number of therapy sessions typically ranges from 5 to 20, depending on the need.

Sometimes, even a single session can help You move forward.​​​​​​​​

MINDFULNESS​​​​

Mindfulness refers to focusing on the present moment, experiencing and observing it

with an accepting and gentle attitude. By practicing mindfulness, it is possible to connect with

oneself and one's body and become aware of how the mind operates.

This increases self-awareness, emotional balance, and concentration.

Mindfulness is practiced through various exercises, the most common being breathing exercises.​​​​

 

Mindfulness can:

​​​​- Reduce stress

- Increase well-being, emotional skills, and self-awareness

- Improve communication skills

- Strengthen concentration

- Alleviate anxiety, depression, and fears

- Improve sleep quality and make it easier to fall asleep

- Speed up recovery from burnout and help prevent its recurrence ​​

All prices include VAT of 25.5% as of 1.9.2024.

​​​​​​The first therapy session is not included in the package price.​​​​​​

The package payment is non-refundable, but there is no time limit on the duration of the sessions.

​​​​​​Home visits are also subject to a charge of 0.57€ / km.​​​​​​

Pricing for mindfulness courses is agreed upon on a case-by-case basis.​​​​​​
